Traffic detour on several roads

JAKARTA (JP): The city land transportation office announced
yesterday that the traffic flow in several roads in East Jakarta
and North Jakarta will be detoured starting tomorrow due to road
repairs.

According to a statement made available to The Jakarta Post
yesterday, the traffic detour in North Jakarta mayoralty will
occur on Jl. Yos Sudarso, Jl. Semper, Jl. Danau Sunter Utara, Jl.
Kebantenan and Jl. Kampung Bandan.

In East Jakarta the detour will affect Jl. Pisangan Lama (in
front of Cipinang railway station).

Motorists who normally use those roads are asked to avoid them
if possible.

The statement said that all big trucks will not be allowed to
use the roads at all, while motorists who cannot avoid using the
roads are expected to have more patience as most of the roads
will have one side closed.

The road repairs are scheduled to be finished in the beginning
