Traffic detour on Jl. Juanda

JAKARTA: Vehicles going through Jl. Juanda in Central Jakarta
will be directed to other roads beginning Saturday evening at 10
p.m. to anticipate the narrowing of the road due to the
installation of tap water pipes.

Head of the City Transportation Agency, Nurachman, was quoted
by beritajakarta.com on Friday as saying that work on the pipes
would continue until Nov. 30.

He said that in anticipation of traffic jams along the usually
busy road, traffic will be redirected through alternative roads
such as Jl. Pecenongan and Jl. Samanhudi. --JP
