Traffic detour at Monas

Jakarta (JP): Starting today there will be several traffic
detours near Monas compound.

The inner section of Jl. Pelataran Monas will be closed to
the public. All vehicles will be redirected to a new road
parallel to Jl. Silang Monas.

Other roads will remain open but function in a clockwise
direction except for Jl. Silang Merdeka Timur Laut, which will be
for two-way traffic. These new regulations will be in force until
all road work around the area is completed.

Continuing road construction at Monas has created massive
traffic problems, prompting the city land transportation agency
to detour traffic. (25)
