Traffic Corps Chief Opens 2026 Samsat Development Coordination Meeting, Strengthening Public Service Synergy
The Head of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, officially opened the National Samsat Development Coordination Meeting for the 2026 Fiscal Year. In this agenda, he emphasised the importance of strengthening synergy in serving the public.
The event, opened directly by Inspector General Agus, took place in the Ballroom of the Padma Hotel in Semarang, Central Java, on Wednesday (22/4/2026). This year’s coordination meeting adopts the theme ‘Strengthening Synergy through Digital Transformation to Improve the Quality of Public Services’.
On this occasion, stakeholders were present, ranging from the Director General of Regional Financial Education (BKD) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Agus Fatoni, the President Director of PT Jasa Raharja, Muhammad Awaluddin, the ranks of Korlantas Polri’s principal officers, Directors of Traffic from Regional Police across Indonesia, Regional Financial Authorities, to representatives from relevant ministries and state-owned enterprises.
The activity aims to discuss various issues in Samsat, while seeking solutions and innovations to provide fast, transparent, and accountable services to the public.
The National Samsat Development Coordination Meeting for the 2026 Fiscal Year was officially opened with the striking of a gong by Inspector General Agus, accompanied by the Director General of BKD from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Agus Fatoni, and the President Director of PT Jasa Raharja, Muhammad Awaluddin.
“With this, I declare the National Samsat Development Coordination Meeting for the 2026 Fiscal Year in Semarang open,” said Inspector General Agus, greeted with applause from all invited guests.
In this coordination meeting, all relevant parties present discussed various problems while formulating solutions to improve transparent services in accordance with procedures for the public.
“Today, we formulate how developments in Samsat are progressing, especially in improving services to the public, both for paying taxes and others,” he stated.
Through this coordination meeting, Inspector General Agus hopes that the public’s desire for more modern, adaptive, transparent, and technology-based Samsat services can be realised.
All Samsat service implementing officers are also expected to understand and carry out public services to the community in accordance with service standards.
Inspector General Agus also affirmed the full support of Korlantas Polri for various digitalisation efforts, including enhancing technology-based services, initiated by the stakeholders present at the event.
“Regarding the digital leap and digitalisation that has been widely conveyed by Mr. President Director, including the plans of Mr. President Director of Jasa Raharja, of course, this can be well developed. Therefore, the corporation fully supports everything to serve the public well,” he said.
