Semarang, VIVA – The Head of the National Police Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho directly opened the 2026 National Samsat Development Coordination Meeting at the Padma Hotel in Semarang, Central Java, on Wednesday, 22 April 2026.

Kakorlantas stated that synergy and collaboration among the three pillars— the National Police, the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), and Jasa Raharja— must continue to be strengthened. “All these efforts aim to provide the best services to the public and support the nation’s progress,” he said.

Nevertheless, he acknowledged that there are still public perceptions regarding services that are deemed not fully adaptive, less responsive, and inconsistent in some regions.

This becomes a serious concern that must be immediately addressed through comprehensive evaluations and continuous improvement in service quality.

“We must not turn a blind eye. There is still the notion that our services are not optimal. This must be addressed with real work, with changes that are directly felt by the public,” he stated.

Agus also emphasised a strong commitment to eradicating all forms of transactional practices in public services. All ranks are urged to uphold integrity, professionalism, and provide clean services oriented towards the public’s interests.
