The increased broadcast of the traditional arts on private TV
stations is most welcome. The community has been looking forward
to watching the traditional arts, which has become a national
asset. It is a fact that young people tend to be indifferent
towards the traditional arts because, according to them, they
lack attractiveness. But the TV stations have made a good effort
to revive the traditional arts, and hopefully they will gradually
be able to attract young viewers.

We are slightly optimistic in this case, because of the fact
that a puppet show, which is presented by Indosiar TV station
every Saturday evening, has claimed more and more fans.
Accordingly, the networks' managements should air more programs
on traditional arts from Java, Sumatra and other provinces.
