A number of residents carried water jugs during the traditional procession of collecting seven sacred water sources (tirta) at Goa Kreo Tourism Village, Gunung Pati, Semarang, Central Java, on Sunday (14/6/2026). The hereditary tradition, observed by the village community, is held to welcome the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram 1448 H, as well as to express gratitude to God for the abundance of clean water springs and to introduce the tradition to the younger generation while promoting tourism potential through local cultural wisdom. Several residents washed their faces using water collected during the procession. A resident transferred water using a jug, and another resident collected water with a jug during the ritual.
