Trading App Optimised with AI to Attract Gen Z Investors

The transformation of investment app design is increasingly steering towards a trading experience that is more interactive, fast, and personalised. Indo Premier Sekuritas (IPOT) is among the firms strengthening technology development by launching a dynamic AI real-time UI/UX design for Gen Z investors. The update not only brings a more vivid app interface but also changes how investors interact with the market to be faster, more personalised, modern, and responsive to risk. Moleonoto The, President Director & CEO of Indo Premier Sekuritas, said static UI risks leaving investors behind when market conditions move quickly. ‘When the market moves in seconds, a static UI and lagging indicators only produce slow decisions, lagging reactions, and weak trading protections,’ he said. He noted that the new AI real-time UI/UX is designed as a personalised trading cockpit rather than just a stock trading app. In this concept, the bottom navigation no longer serves merely as a visual element but as the app’s main operating system, allowing users to activate modules according to their investment or day trading needs. This approach is seen as making the app experience more personalised, relevant, and efficient for younger investors. While adopting a modern look for Gen Z, the company emphasises that the core trading infrastructure remains intact. Fundamental data, order management, ROBO features, financial reports, and portfolio management remain fully available. With this concept, the app is expected to combine a modern appearance with serious and comprehensive trading utilities. In addition, EZ Mode, horizontal toggle, and quick access are prepared to support the speed of trade execution so users can adapt more easily to dynamic market movements. This approach is considered different from some platforms that still use a uniform navigation model for all user types. On asset monitoring, the portfolio and order views are made more informative through improved visuals. Information such as average price and profit/loss can now be displayed more readably via an expandable stock status. There is also a Cancel All Orders feature in the order menu to help users manage trading positions more quickly. To support investment decision-making, IPOT also presents an Insights menu directly integrated into the main navigation, featuring tabs such as Updates, IPOT Views, Community, and Learn & Features, delivering market information, contextual analysis, and educational materials in one platform. On fundamental analysis, users can view a company’s financial data in chart form via the Financials feature, with metrics like revenue growth or earnings per share shown as visual trends, making them easier to understand and analyse.
