Trade Minister Focuses on Ensuring MinyaKita Distribution to Public Markets

Trade Minister Budi Santoso has confirmed that the government has not yet decided to adjust the retail price ceiling (HET) for MinyaKita. The government is instead focusing its efforts on ensuring distribution and supply so that the subsidised cooking oil remains available and easily accessible to the public. The handling of suspected misappropriation cases involving MinyaKita distribution is still ongoing. The government is not solely relying on administrative sanctions but is also improving the distribution system and supervision to prevent similar violations from recurring.
