Brigadier General Putu Putera Sadana has officially assumed the role of Head of the Bali Provincial Narcotics Agency (BNNP Bali). He replaces Brigadier General Budi Sajidin, who has taken up a new assignment as Head of BNNP Banten.
"It is an honour for me to return to the Island of the Gods and to be part of protecting and serving the people of Bali from the threat of narcotics. I ask for your support. Hopefully, going forward with the spirit of a war on drugs for humanity, together we can realise a Bali that is safe, advanced, and bersinar (clean from drugs)," said Putera Sadana in a release received on Thursday (18/6/2026).
Sadana, who hails from Mengwi, Badung, began his career in Bali. He served in the Samapta Unit of Buleleng Police, Ubud Police Sector, as Head of Criminal Investigation for Bangli Police, and as Head of Kuta Police Sector.
He was subsequently entrusted as Head of Criminal Investigation for West Jakarta Metro Police and returned to the Island of the Gods as Tabanan Police Chief in 2015. After serving in Tabanan, Sadana was reassigned to Polda Metro Jaya as Deputy Chief of Bekasi Metro Police.

Later, Sadana served as Director of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dirreskrimsus) of Papua Regional Police, was then appointed as Head of the Legal Bureau (Kabidkum) of Polda Metro Jaya, and served as a Senior Policy Officer for the Security Maintenance Agency (Barhakam) of the Indonesian National Police assigned to the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR).
