Track Extension Project Leads to Closure of Three Platforms at Bogor Station Until July 2026

Bogor - Three platforms at Bogor Station—platforms 6, 7, and 8—are being closed due to ongoing track extension works for the railway lines. The closure will take effect from April until July 2026, with train operations limited to platforms 2 through 5. “There will be extension works on platforms and tracks 6, 7, and 8 at Bogor Station. Therefore, those tracks must be closed,” said the Head of Bogor Station, Mardiono, to Kompas.com on Wednesday (8/4/2026). He explained that new access will be provided for passengers using platforms 2 through 5 at Bogor Station. “We are building a new walkway or access for passengers heading to platforms 2 through 5,” he stated. He added that train schedules from Bogor Station will be adjusted starting 13 April 2026.
