TPI to broadcast live all 17 F1 GP legs

JAKARTA: TPI, one of Indonesia's private television stations,
will broadcast live all 17 legs of the 2002 Formula-One World
Championship, the station management announced on Wednesday.

The live broadcasts, which will feature entertainer Nico
Siahaan as presenter, will generally start at 6 p.m. for the
races held in Europe, except for Britain, which will start at 7
p.m.

Races in Australia, the venue of the opening leg on March 2,
Japan and Malaysia will be aired either in the morning or early
afternoon, while it will be about midnight when the races in the
United States and Brazil will be aired.

This year's F-1 championship encompasses races in Australia,
Malaysia, Brazil, San Marino, Spain, Austria, Monaco, Canada,
Britain, France, Germany (2), Hungary, Belgium, Italy, the United
States and Japan. --JP
