TPI to air Grundy's quizzes

JAKARTA (JP): Privately owned television station, TPI, has signed an agreement with a local television program producer, Dunia Visitama Produksi, an affiliate of Australia's Grundy Worldwide Limited, to produce two quiz shows.

TPI's managing director Tito Sulistio said on Sunday the two Grundy quiz programs, Sale of the Century and Take Your Pick, would be adapted for Indonesia.

"The programs have been adapted in about 20 countries and are expected to be successful in Indonesia," Tito said.

The Indonesian version of Sale of the Century will run to 260 episodes and Take Your Pick to 140 episodes.

Producing the two television shows was also expected to provide knowledge and skills to TPI crew members, said Tito.

He did not say when the programs would be made or broadcast. (jun)
