Expert Staff for Strengthening Family Food Resilience at the Central Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP PKK), Yane Ardian Bima Arya, conducted monitoring of the mobilisation and oversight of the zero dose immunisation intervention in Lampung Province. This activity forms part of the collaboration between the Central TP PKK and local TP PKK in addressing zero dose children, namely those who have not yet received a single dose of routine basic immunisation.

During his visit, Yane appreciated the commitment of the Lampung Provincial Government alongside the local TP PKK, which targets achieving 100% intervention coverage within one and a half months.

“I am quite pleased to hear such commitment from the Governor and her colleagues, targeting 100% within one and a half months. Inshallah, it will be safe, it can be done, we pray for it. But even reaching above 90% would be extraordinary,” he said while delivering a speech at the Friendly Gathering event of the PKK Visit Agenda in Lampung Province, at the Governor’s Official Residence Mahan Agung, on Monday (11/5/2026).

Yane explained that the visit aimed to monitor and evaluate the zero dose programme to ensure no children remain without immunisation. In its implementation, the Ministry of Health collaborates with TP PKK to reach communities directly, particularly in areas with high zero dose rates, to provide interventions and education to the public.

According to him, the role of TP PKK is crucial in supporting government efforts to address various social issues, including improving child health. This is supported by the presence of active TP PKK cadres down to the grassroots level.

“This is the very strategic role of PKK with its 10 core programmes that can help the government reduce these social phenomena. I greatly appreciate the TP PKK leaders throughout Indonesia,” he stated.

He added that the militant TP PKK cadres are a key force in supporting various government programmes. Therefore, capacity building and education must continue in a tiered manner from the provincial level to the neighbourhood units so that the interventions can reach the wider community.
