JAKARTA – PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) is once again participating in the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2026, which takes place from 8 to 11 April 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran.
Under the spirit of “Multi Solution for All”, Toyota is presenting various Hilux Rangga conversions as flexible and reliable business-to-business (B2B) mobility solutions. The vehicle is also claimed to excel in terms of Quality, Durability, and Reliability (QDR).
“For more than 50 years in Indonesia, Toyota has been committed to providing mobility solutions that are relevant to the business needs of Indonesian society. At GIICOMVEC 2026, we want to demonstrate that the Hilux Rangga is not just a commercial vehicle, but a customisable business solution for a variety of needs, from SME logistics and agriculture to public services and mining,” said TAM Vice President Jap Ernando Demily on Wednesday (8/6/2026).
The vehicle has a payload capacity of up to 1.2 tonnes, a flat deck with three-way access, and a bonnet design that is claimed to enhance comfort and safety.
Toyota also offers petrol and diesel engine options to balance performance and efficiency. In its development, Toyota collaborates with more than 80 local body builders to deliver various conversion solutions tailored to customer needs.
In addition, Toyota is introducing the Total Mobility Solution ecosystem, which includes after-sales service networks, spare parts availability, and easy access to financing.
“The Hilux Rangga embodies the Multi Solution for All vision. Supported by guarantees of Durability and Reliability (QDR), as well as Toyota’s comprehensive Total Mobility Solution ecosystem—from extensive workshop networks and spare parts availability to easy financing access—we aim to provide solutions that allow customers to run their businesses more worry-free,” said TAM Marketing Director Bansar Maduma.
At GIICOMVEC 2026, Toyota is displaying several Hilux Rangga conversions for various needs, from logistics to public services. Among them are the Hilux Rangga Cool Box for frozen food distribution, the Flatdeck as an operational vehicle, and the Firefighter variant to support firefighting services.
