PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) has provided support to accelerate recovery following the flash floods and landslides that hit several areas of Sumatra Island in November 2025, through the handover of three Toyota Kijang Innova ambulances. TMMIN President Director Nandi Julyanto stated that this tangible support was presented to the Muda Sedia Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh.

“Through this small step of donating three Toyota Kijang Innova ambulances, we hope to assist the mobility of healthcare services for the people of Aceh Tamiang, so they can return to their activities as they were before the disaster struck,” said Nandi Julyanto in an official statement on Friday.

This initiative is part of the ongoing humanitarian aid programme by Toyota Indonesia, alongside its supplier companies, which has been implemented since the post-disaster emergency response phase. As the recovery phase begins, Toyota Indonesia continues to strive to contribute through support that is relevant to the needs of the community and public facilities in the affected areas.

“Amidst challenging situations such as the post-disaster recovery process, Toyota Indonesia hopes to continue being present not only as part of public mobility but also as part of the hope and recovery efforts when support is most needed,” added Nandi Julyanto.

The handover ceremony was attended by the Regent of Aceh Tamiang, Irjen Pol. (Ret.) Drs. Armia Pahmi MH, alongside local officials and healthcare stakeholders in the Aceh Tamiang Regency.
