Toyo's gas pipeline deal

TOKYO (Reuter): Toyo Engineering Corp said over the weekend
that it had won an order from Mobil Exploration Indonesia to
build a 100-km undersea natural gas pipeline and gas-treating
facilities.

The US$320 million contract was won through a consortium
formed with the state-owned PT Tripatra Engineers and
Constructors and PT McDermott Indonesia, Toyo Engineering said in
a statement.

Construction of the pipeline is expected to be completed in
June 1999 and will carry natural gas from an underwater field in
North Sumatra, the statement said.
