The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has once again handed over trillions of rupiah to the state from seized assets in corruption cases and administrative fines for the misuse of forest areas. The displayed trillions of rupiah continue to mount impressively.

Since October 2025, this is the third time Kejagung has handed over trillions of rupiah to the state from corruption case seizures. In October 2025, Kejagung seized Rp 13 trillion related to the corruption case of crude palm oil (CPO) export approvals for the 2021-2022 period.

Then in December 2025, Kejagung also handed over Rp 6.6 trillion to the state through Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. Most recently, on Friday (10/4/2026), Kejagung handed over Rp 11.4 trillion to the state. Thus, the total state funds successfully recovered amount to Rp 31.3 trillion.

The trillions of rupiah displayed yesterday at Kejagung were piled up in front of the prepared event area. Due to the sheer volume, the massive stack of money was arranged into a pyramid-like backdrop.

The trillions in seized funds were placed in clear plastic bundles containing Rp 100,000 denominations. At the top centre of the stack was a sign indicating the total value of the money at Rp 11,420,104,815,858 trillion entering the state coffers.

President Prabowo Subianto expressed happiness that his government has successfully recovered state funds totalling Rp 31.3 trillion. Prabowo stated that this money was recovered during his leadership, which has only been 1.5 years so far.

“We are here today at the handover event for the recovery of state finances and assets, as well as administrative fines for 2026 amounting to Rp 11,420,104,815,858, my fellow citizens. This is an honour and a joy for me that this has happened multiple times in the government I lead, which is only 1.5 years old,” said Prabowo in his speech at Kejagung on Friday (10/4/2026).

According to him, the recovered money will benefit the public. He said the funds could be used to repair schools and renovate homes for low-income citizens.

“This is a very large amount; if we imagine, with this money we can repair 34,000 of our schools across Indonesia. Last year we only managed to repair 17,000 schools, meaning this money could double the state budget,” he said.

He stated that the recovery of this money will benefit 2 million low-income citizens. According to him, the funds could be used to repair hundreds of thousands of people’s homes.

“It can also be imagined if helping with home renovations for low-income citizens; this could repair more than 500,000 homes, meaning it can benefit 2 million of our low-income citizens,” he said.

Prabowo Asks Kejagung Not to Hesitate in Prosecuting Lawbreakers

Prabowo asked the Attorney General’s Office not to hesitate in prosecuting those who violate the law. Prabowo said that the firmer the law enforcement, the more resistance will emerge.

“I order the Attorney General to enforce the law. Those who do not want to cooperate, prosecute. We must not hesitate or be afraid,” said Prabowo.

“The firmer we are, the more steadfast we are, the more we defend the people, the more we will be opposed, the more we will be attacked; do not worry,” he added.

Prabowo said that lawbreakers can use all means, including money they have stolen. While pointing to the Rp 11.4 trillion stack, Prabowo said the people are proud of the ongoing law enforcement.

“How many more times will we prove that we want to secure and save the people’s money? How many more times will we prove it? We will not stop, we will not be afraid; we move forward continuously defending the nation and state,” he said.

Prabowo then stepped forward to the podium. Prabowo saluted the law enforcement apparatus for their work in defending the people’s interests.

“Congratulations on the struggle, congratulations on the struggle; I salute your work. We are ready to die on the right path. Defending the people is a very noble job,” he emphasised.

Satgas PKH Deposits Rp 371 Trillion to the State

Attorney General ST Burhanuddin reported the achievements in efforts to recover state finances from the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH). It was stated that since its formation, Satgas PKH has successfully recovered state finances up to Rp 371 trillion.

“We need to convey that Satgas PKH, since its formation in February 2025 until now, has successfully recovered state financial assets amounting to Rp 371,100,411,043,235,” said Burhanuddin while reading the report at the Kejagung complex in South Jakarta on Friday (10/4/2026).

The entire achievement is counted since the formation of Satgas PKH in January 2025. That amount is the accumulation from several stages of fund deposits as a form of loss recovery to the state coffers.

The Attorney General, as Deputy Chair I of the Satgas PKH Directorate, emphasised that all these achievements are a form of law enforcement to provide real impacts for welfare.

Therefore, he stressed that law enforcement must be firm to maintain national stability. According to him, the state must not lose to mafia practices that exploit Indonesia’s forest wealth.

“Therefore, the state is constitutionally responsible for realising social welfare through an active role in managing protection and national interests,” added Burhanuddin.
