PALU, Central Sulawesi: Both foreign and local tourists are
still flocking to Southeast Sulawesi despite a spate of bomb
explosions in the province.
"Although a series of bomb explosions have rocked the capital
city of Poso, tourists still flock to the province, and so far we
have received no cancellation from tourists planning to visit
resorts in the districts," a tour guide from a local travel
agency, Anwar said here on Tuesday.
Data from the province's Cultural and Tourist Office revealed
that at least 129 foreign tourists, mostly from Europe came to
Poso after the Malino peace treaty was signed early this year.
Head of the local Cultural and Tourist Office, Liberty

and to tell the world the district was free from sectarian
conflicts.-- Antara
