Tourist dies of epileptic attack

DENPASAR, Bali: A Taiwanese tourist, David Saiao, 40, had an
epileptic fit while on a cruise in the Nusa Lembongan waters, and
died soon after he was taken to hospital.

Klungkung police chief Lt. Col. IGK Kesuma said on Thursday
that Saiao had the attack just as he was about to get off the
ship and on to the beach.

His body was kept in the Denpasar Public Hospital's morgue for
two days before being flown to Taiwan yesterday.

The deceased was a manager of the IBM computer company and was
in Bali to attend a conference of the company in the recreation
site of Nusa Dua. (swe)
