The success in maintaining the WTP opinion for more than a decade reflects the growth of a work culture that prioritises transparency, accountability, and integrity within the Ministry of Tourism. “Going forward, we must ensure that every rupiah of the state budget is managed accountably, on target, and provides the greatest possible benefit to the community through quality and sustainable tourism sector development,” Widiyanti stated. In the 2025 Fiscal Year, the Ministry of Tourism recorded a budget realisation of 95.52 percent of the utilisable ceiling. Meanwhile, budget realisation by work unit reached 95.92 percent, comprising the Central Work Unit at 97.74 percent, Tourism Polytechnics at 93.66 percent, and the Authority Executing Agency at 90.66 percent of the total 2025 Fiscal Year budget ceiling of Rp1.48 trillion. Widiyanti expressed hope that the achievement of the WTP opinion for more than a decade would serve as motivation for all levels of the Ministry of Tourism to continue strengthening good governance while improving the quality of public services to support the advancement of Indonesian tourism. “The hope is that this achievement will be a catalyst for us to continue strengthening good governance in order to realise quality, competitive, and sustainable Indonesian tourism,” Widiyanti said.
