I am the owner of a BII Super Pundi. On Aug. 11, 2000, my ATM
card was accidentally swallowed by the machine. I understood I
had failed to make the transaction and I had lost my ATM card.

However, to my surprise, I found my account balance was
reduced by Rp 3 million. I have phoned the BII office at Menara
II, Jl. Thamrin, and have also gone to the office in person. So
far there has been no response from BII.

I would like to have answers to the following questions:

a) There is at the ATM a notice with a phone number. Why can this
number not be called?

b) Why could I not get my withdrawal slip?

c) My money in my account was withdrawn but nobody knew my PIN
number. How was this possible?

d) Is BII going to investigate how a customer's money was lost in
a BII ATM he was using? Can the camera in the ATM booth be of use
in the investigation?
