Touch rugby meet here

JAKARTA (JP): Touch rugby in Indonesia marks another chapter in its short but exciting history today with the staging of the 1997 Jakarta Touch Rugby Club (JTRC) Invitational Tournament.

Two teams from Kuala Lumpur and one from Singapore are competing against seven local sides; three from JTRC, two from the Jakarta International School, and one each from the British International School (BIS) and the International Sports Club of Indonesia.

The tournament at BIS is the second of its kind in Indonesia, building on the success of the inaugural event last year. (jea)
