TOTL Clarifies Share Price Surge and Transaction Volatility

PT Total Bangun Persada Tbk (ticker code: TOTL) has provided an official clarification to PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) regarding the significant increase in the company’s share price and trading volatility in recent times.

According to the statement, the exchange authority noted that TOTL’s share price had cumulatively surged by Rp255, or 23.72%, moving from Rp1,075 at the close on 29 July 2026 to Rp1,330 per share. In addition to the price surge, trading activity in TOTL shares also experienced a sharp increase, with average transactions reaching 6.23 million shares and an average trading frequency of 1,458 times.

Responding to the exchange’s request for clarification, the Corporate Secretary of PT Total Bangun Persada Tbk, Anggie R.V. Sanusi Sidharta, asserted that management was not aware of any material information or facts that could affect the value of the company’s securities or investors’ investment decisions.

“We are not aware of any material information or facts that could affect the value of the Company’s securities or investors’ investment decisions as referred to in Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 31/POJK.04/2015,” said Anggie in a written information disclosure dated 11 August 2026.

Furthermore, TOTL’s management affirmed that the company has no corporate action plans in the near term—at least within the next three months—that could potentially impact the listing of its shares on the exchange.

The company also recorded no specific transactions or activities from its major/majority shareholders. As of the submission of the confirmation letter, TOTL confirmed that there were no other material events or significant occurrences that could affect the price of its securities or the company’s business continuity that had not been disclosed to the public.
