Tosanjaya gets ISO 9002

JAKARTA (JP): PT Bakrie Tosanjaya, a foundry company
affiliated to PT Bakrie & Brothers, has been awarded an ISO 9002
certificate from the Sucofindo Registrar for Quality Assurance
(SRQA), an Indonesian state-owned certification agency.

Bakrie Tosanjaya, set up in 1976, produces various kinds of
automotive components. The company is currently increasing its
production capacity from 1,100 tons to 2,200 tons a year. It is
also expanding the production of foundry and non-foundry
automotive components.

The company recently set up a joint venture with Jidosha Buhin
Kogyo Co. of Japan to make engine components, such as ring gears
for flywheels. (13)
