Jakarta - Indonesian online remittance provider Topremit has recorded a significant performance surge, posting user growth of 19.93 percent through April 2026. With this growth, the total number of users of this financial technology (fintech) platform has now exceeded 300,000. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Co-founder of Topremit, Hermanto, stated that this achievement is the result of the company’s consistency in delivering inclusive and easily accessible cross-border money transfer solutions. “This growth motivates us to continue innovating to simplify the entire cross-border transaction process. Topremit’s focus is to ensure the public can enjoy international transfer services that are not only safe and officially licensed, but also practical without complicated bureaucracy,” Hermanto said. He added that this positive growth also proves that ease of interaction within the application is the main key to comfort for all user groups. The current shift in financial trends in Southeast Asia is also driven by the acceleration of internet usage, digital wallet adoption, and the integration of cross-border payment systems. To capture these opportunities, Topremit offers a transaction experience that combines fund delivery speed in a matter of minutes, cost transparency through a flat fee scheme, and security guarantees under an official Bank Indonesia licence. Currently, Topremit’s international transaction network has reached more than 90 countries across Asia, Africa, America, Europe, and Oceania. First established in Medan in 2009 as a conventional business, Topremit transformed into Indonesia’s first online remittance service in August 2018 under the leadership of Hermanto (CEO) and Henry Wirawan (CMO). In addition to providing a web-based platform, the company also launched mobile applications for iOS and Android. In December 2019, the company received an award as the “Best Money Transfer Service Provider” from Bank Indonesia. The platform claims its services are 87 percent more affordable compared to conventional remittance costs.
