Topping Off RSJPD Harapan Kita, PTPP Delivers High-Tech Smart Hospital
PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), a national construction and investment company under the aegis of Danantara Indonesia, along with its operational cooperation partners, has successfully achieved an important milestone through the topping off ceremony for the construction of RSJPD Harapan Kita - Tokushukai Building. This achievement marks the completion of the main building structure as part of the development of an international-standard cardiac healthcare service facility.
The event was attended by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, representatives from the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia, Chairman of Tokushukai Medical Corporation Shinichi Higashiue, as well as the Director General of RSJPD Harapan Kita Iwan Dakota, the President Director of PTPP and his team.
On this occasion, Indonesia’s Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin emphasised that this project is an important part of efforts to enhance national cardiac healthcare services through international collaboration. He stated that strengthening these facilities is expected to expand access to high-standard healthcare services for the Indonesian people.
This project, with a contract value of Rp882.51 billion, demonstrates positive progress with a realisation achievement of 73.2%. This success reflects well-maintained project performance in terms of quality, timeliness, and execution control.
PTPP Corporate Secretary Joko Raharjo stated that this topping off achievement is proof of PTPP’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects that prioritise safety, quality, and timeliness.
“PTPP is committed to continuing to deliver international-standard healthcare infrastructure with the application of modern construction technology and strict project control. This topping off achievement is tangible evidence of the hard work of the entire team in maintaining quality and execution timelines,” he said.
As the executing contractor, PTPP is committed to delivering the best construction quality by prioritising workplace safety, quality, and timeliness in every stage of development. The project is targeted for prompt completion and to provide tangible contributions to improving cardiac and vascular healthcare services in Indonesia.
RSJPD Harapan Kita - Tokushukai Building is also designed as a smart hospital with various technology-based advantages, including an integrated control and monitoring system on a single dashboard, integration with the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS), real-time patient monitoring based on the Internet of Things (IoT), and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in security systems. In addition, this project also implements automation in non-medical processes up to the operating room to ensure efficiency and optimal sterilisation standards.
Through strategic collaboration between various parties, this project is expected to become a symbol of synergy and shared commitment in delivering modern, superior, and international-standard healthcare facilities.
On this occasion, Project Director of Tokushukai Medical Corporation, dr. Takeki Ohashi, expressed his appreciation for the project execution by stating, “Thank you for your excellent job!” This topping off not only symbolises the completion of the building structure but also reflects great hopes for improving the quality of national healthcare services in the future.
