Iran Targets US Airbase in Retaliation
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated they targeted a US airbase in a recent attack on Thursday, 28 May, in response to US strikes in southern Iran, according to state TV channel IRIB. “Following this morning’s aggression by the US military attacking locations near Bandar Abbas Airport using air projectiles, the American airbase serving as the source of the attack was targeted at 04:50 (0120 GMT),” said the IRGC, as reported by AFP.
