Top 10 Most Popular University Programmes in SNBT 2026

Chairman of the National Selection for New Students (SNPMB) Committee, Eduart Wolok, announced the top 10 most popular academic degree programmes at Indonesian public universities (PTN) for the 2026 National Selection Based on Test (SNBT). “These are the 10 most sought-after programmes at academic PTNs,” Wolok stated during a press conference at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in Jakarta on Monday, 25 May 2026.

According to SNBT 2026 results, the Occupational Safety and Health Diploma 4 programme at University of Sebelas Maret had the highest number of applicants with 5,582, though only 43 were accepted. The Nursing Diploma 3 programme at Airlangga University ranked second with 5,216 applicants and 60 accepted. Business Administration Diploma 3 at Brawijaya University came third with 5,059 applicants and 116 accepted.

Occupational Safety and Health Diploma 4 at Airlangga University was fourth with 4,792 applicants. The Bachelor of Mining and Petroleum Engineering at Bandung Institute of Technology recorded 4,789 applicants and 115 accepted. The Anaesthesia Nursing Diploma 4 at University of Sebelas Maret attracted 4,766 applicants.

The Bachelor of Law at Diponegoro University had 4,685 applicants with 287 accepted. Airlangga University’s Taxation Diploma 3 followed with 4,570 applicants. Digital Public Relations and Communication Diploma 4 at State University of Jakarta had 4,346 applicants, while the Bachelor of Law at University of Indonesia closed the list with 4,187 applicants.

SNPMB announced 256,369 applicants successfully passed SNBT 2026, representing 29.42% of the total 871,496 candidates who took the university entrance selection. Results were officially released on 25 May 2026 via the SNPMB website and partner university mirrors.

For the 2026 SNBT, 286,864 places were available across Indonesian public universities, comprising 228,118 bachelor’s degree slots, 33,510 Diploma 4 (applied bachelor’s) places, and 25,236 Diploma 3 slots. Successful candidates are required to complete re-registration procedures according to their respective university’s guidelines.

The SNBT 2026 results were announced at 15:00 WIB on 25 May 2026 via the https://pengumuman-snbt.snpmb.id website and university mirrors. Applicants could check their results by entering their UTBK-SNBT 2026 participant number and date of birth on the SNPMB system.
