Top 10 Most Popular Railway Stations During the May 2026 Long Weekend
KOMPAS.com - Pasarsenen Station remains the favourite station for railway passengers during the long weekend of 14-17 May 2026, commemorating the Ascension of Jesus Christ.
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) recorded that as many as 55,663 passengers used trains from Pasarsenen Station during 14-16 May 2026.
“Every train journey has a broad impact. Community activities are also stimulated, starting from the SME sector around the station, onward transportation, accommodation, culinary centres, to local trade in destination cities,” said Vice President of Corporate Communication at KAI, Anne Purba, in an official statement on Saturday (16/5/2026).

Gambir Station: 52,293 passengers
Yogyakarta Station: 52,111 passengers
Semarang Tawang Station: 34,994 passengers
Bandung Station: 31,995 passengers

Purwokerto Station: 26,951 passengers
Solo Balapan Station: 26,543 passengers
Surabaya Pasar Turi Station: 25,690 passengers
