Top 10 Best-Selling Car Brands in Indonesia February 2026
JAKARTA — The competitive landscape of the four-wheel vehicle market in Indonesia’s national automotive sector in February 2026 remained dominated by established players, although several new brands have begun demonstrating significant contributions to sales figures.
According to data from the Indonesian Automotive Manufacturers Association (Gaikindo), Toyota reclaimed its position as Indonesia’s best-selling car brand in February 2026.
During this period, Toyota recorded wholesale distribution from factory to dealers of 22,522 units. Meanwhile, retail sales from dealers to consumers reached 22,812 units.
Mitsubishi Motors held fourth position with 7,008 wholesale units and 7,017 retail sales units.
Honda occupied fifth position with 5,385 wholesale units and 4,688 retail sales units.
Notably, Chinese brand BYD successfully entered the top six with 4,653 wholesale units and 3,596 retail sales units.
Additionally, new brand Jaecoo immediately broke into the top seven with 3,005 wholesale units and 3,028 retail sales units.
In the commercial vehicle segment, Mitsubishi Fuso occupied eighth position with 2,506 wholesale units and 2,618 retail sales units.
