Tomorrow, Transjakarta fares only Rp12

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is introducing a special programme featuring fares of only Rp12 for journeys on Friday (27/3) from 00:00 to 23:59 WIB, in commemoration of its 12th anniversary. “This can be enjoyed by customers making payments through the TJ:Transjakarta app,” said the Head of Public Relations and CSR Department of Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani, in Jakarta on Thursday. Ayu explained that this special fare policy is a form of appreciation from Transjakarta to the community that has loyally used public transportation services, while also encouraging the adoption of the digital ecosystem in urban transport services. “We are presenting this Rp12 fare programme as a thank you to our loyal customers of Transjakarta. We also want to invite the public to increasingly utilise the convenience of digital services through the TJ:Transjakarta app,” Ayu stated. Meanwhile, during the Eid al-Fitr moment on 21-22 March 2026, a total of 1,135,547 people boarded Transjakarta fleets. “The peak occurred on 22 March 2026 with a total of 697,519 customers in one day, a sharp increase compared to the previous day which recorded 438,028 customers,” Ayu said. Ayu stated that these figures align with the enthusiasm of the public celebrating Eid in Jakarta in utilising the Special Fare policy of Rp1 implemented on 21 and 22 March 2026.
