Tommy's disguised face an invention?
Tommy's disguised face an invention?
From Suara Karya
News on the police's success in storming the house rented by
the youngest son of former president Soeharto, Tommy, and on the
removal of various rifles and explosives such as dynamites,
grenades, bombs, automatic guns and pistols from the house, plus
the arrest of people who are said to be Tommy's friends, is
certainly sensational and the police certainly deserve some
credit.
However, all of us are looking forward to a further
development: that the police catch Tommy, arrest him, then put
him in jail. We don't like the police's big mouth or empty,
hollow ultimatums.
Despite their success, there is something dubious in the
police statements: they have accused Tommy of collaborating with
the Free Aceh Movement. At a press conference, the police showed
photos of Tommy with a beard and sideburns, and said he had
disguised himself as "Ibrahim".
In my opinion, in spite of a beard and sideburns, Tommy can
still easily be recognized. The disguise has patently failed to
work.
I would like to ask a question, "Could the quality of the
disguise made by a wealthy Tommy and his notorious gang be that
bad?".
The police must prove to the public that what they have said
is not only lip service. Good luck, we are looking forward to
sensational news!
