Tommy Soeharto set for surgery

INDONESIA: Tommy Soeharto, the imprisoned youngest son of the
country's former dictator, is to undergo surgery on Sunday, a
report said.

"According to schedule Tommy will be operated on tomorrow at 6
a.m.," Dr. Robert Hutauruk was quoted as saying by the Detikcom
online news service.

Hutauruk heads the army medical team caring for Tommy, who is
serving a 15-year sentence for ordering the murder of a judge.
His lawyer said last month he has a suspected tumor behind his
right eye.

It is the third time in about two months that Tommy has
received medical leave from the prison where he is held on
Nusakambangan island in Central Java.
