Tomen wins RI port projects

TOKYO: Trading house Tomen Corp. said Thursday a consortium it
led was awarded the "Package II" port development project at
Kupang and Bitung in Indonesia.

Tomen and Niigata Engineering Co. will supply cargo handling
equipment and port service vessels for the project.

The order for the project, for which the Japanese government
is providing assistance, is valued at around Y1 billion, Tomen
