Tomang underpass opens on Tuesday

JAKARTA: The City Transportation Agency announced on Monday
that it would open the Tomang underpass in West Jakarta to the
public on Tuesday.

"Motorists are advised to keep their eyes open for newly
installed traffic signs there and to heed directions of duty
officers around the site," agency head Rustam Effendi Sidabutar
said in a statement.

The agency will open one lane of the underpass for traffic
from the west, or Tangerang, heading to Harmoni between 6 a.m.
and 9 a.m. everyday.

Traffic from Harmoni to Tangerang, however, will not be
allowed to use the underpass from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m.
and 9 a.m. The underpass will be open to traffic on Saturday and
Sunday, and after 9 a.m. to 6 a.m..--JP.
