Tomang Toll Gate to Close Tonight, Airport Route Diverted

Jasa Marga will close a section of the Jakarta Inner City Toll Road starting tonight, Friday (24/7/2026), through to Sunday (9/8/2026). The closure will take place every Friday to Sunday for more than two weeks.

According to an announcement on Jasa Marga’s official Instagram account, the closure is necessary to carry out pavement reconstruction work. “Jasa Marga will carry out pavement reconstruction work at the Tomang Toll Gate and Ramp B of the Tomang Interchange towards Cawang, on the Inner City Toll Road, from Friday (24/07) to Sunday (09/08),” the company stated.

“The work schedule is part of a series of reconstruction works being carried out in stages, conducted every Friday at 21.30 WIB until Sunday at 05.00 WIB, subject to traffic conditions on the ground,” Jasa Marga continued.

It was emphasised that during the works, at the discretion of the Police, the Tomang Toll Gate will be temporarily closed and traffic diversions will be implemented. “Road users from Tangerang heading towards Cawang via the Inner City Toll Road will be directed to exit at Tomang and continue their journey via arterial roads before re-entering at the Slipi 2 Toll Gate,” Jasa Marga stated.

“Meanwhile, road users from Tangerang heading to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport will be directed to exit at Tomang and continue their journey via arterial roads before re-entering at the Jelambar 1 Toll Gate,” the company explained.

Jasa Marga apologised for any inconvenience caused by the works and urged road users to remain cautious, follow the directions of officers on the ground, and anticipate adjustments to their route and travel time.
