Toll Tariff Discount of 30 Per Cent on Trans-Sumatra Toll Road for 2026 Eid Holiday Travel: Check the Details
As part of preparations for the 2026 Eid holiday travel period, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has taken strategic measures to support public mobility and alleviate traffic congestion. One such initiative involves implementing a 30 per cent toll tariff discount across several sections of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS).
This policy is expected to help ease travel costs for the public whilst maintaining smooth traffic flow during this peak period.
There are six main toll road sections operated by Hutama Karya plus one subsidiary section that will apply the tariff reduction. The 30 per cent toll reduction is implemented in both directions during the following periods:
The discount applies specifically to road users undertaking continuous journeys using electronic payment cards with sufficient credit. For the Indrapura–Kisaran toll road in North Sumatra, the tariff reduction remains applicable in both directions from 15 March 2026 (00.00 WIB) to 16 March 2026 (00.00 WIB), and from 26 March 2026 (00.00 WIB) to 27 March 2026 (00.00 WIB).
Plt. Executive Vice President (EVP) and Company Secretary at Hutama Karya, Hamdani, stated that this policy aligns with national policy to support smooth public mobility during the 2026 Eid holiday travel period.
“We urge road users to check toll tariffs according to their entry gate and travel destination, and to ensure their electronic payment card balance is sufficient before entering the toll road,” Hamdani concluded.
The government has prepared various facilities and infrastructure to support smooth vehicle traffic flow during the holiday travel season. The Trans-Sumatra Toll Road experienced significant increases in traffic volumes as the period approached, with railway services also reporting increased passenger numbers in North Sumatra.
