Toll Tariff Discount for Lebaran 2026: 30 Per Cent Reduction During Specific Dates
Jakarta — The Indonesian Government, through the Ministry of Public Works (PU), will implement toll tariff discounts during the exodus and return traffic periods for Idul Fitri 1447 Hijrah.
Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo stated that the discount schedule is divided into two days during outbound traffic and two days during return traffic, spanning four days in total.
“Generally, the toll tariff discount will be implemented over four days, namely 15–16 March 2026 for outbound traffic and 26–27 March 2026 for return traffic,” Hanggodo said in a statement released on Monday, 2 March 2026.
The tariff reduction applies only to users travelling long distances (barrier to barrier) and paying using electronic funds with sufficient balance. The discount does not apply if the balance cannot be read or is insufficient at the exit gate.
However, certain toll segments have different schedules from the general provisions. Specific adjustments include the Becakayu Toll, which implements dynamic pricing discounts of 10–20 per cent until 31 March 2026.
“The toll tariff discount policy aims to prevent excessive traffic accumulation on peak days. With the discount, it is hoped that travellers will depart and return earlier than forecasted peak hours, and more four-wheeled vehicles will use toll roads, thus reducing the burden on national roads,” Hanggodo added.
