The Indonesian government, through the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT), is providing a 30 per cent toll tariff discount on Trans-Java routes.

The tariff reduction is aimed at alleviating congestion during the 2026 Lebaran exodus and assisting the public in reducing transportation costs for homebound travel.

This tariff adjustment is not subsidised by the state budget, but rather utilises a margin profit adjustment scheme from BUJT.

Officials have called for this policy to be implemented to the fullest extent so that it can benefit the general public.

The return journey period of 26-27 March 2026 will receive the same 30 per cent discount.

However, there are several toll sections on Java Island with differentiated discount schedules:

  • Tangerang-Merak toll: 12-13 March 2026 and 31 March-1 April

  • Cimanggis-Cibitung toll: 21-22 March 2026

  • Becakayu toll: Dynamic pricing discount of 10-20 per cent until 31 March

  • Cibitung-Cilincing toll: Discount of 12-44 per cent valid until 30 April

  • Kayuagung-Palembang toll: Discount of 10-30 per cent on 14-16 March and 26-29 March

  • Tangerang-Merak toll: 30 per cent discount applies for travel from GT Cikupa to GT Merak starting 12 March at 00:00 WIB until 13 March at 24:00 WIB

  • Jakarta-Cikampek toll: 30 per cent discount applies for travel from GT Cikatama to GT Kalikangkung starting 15 March at 00:00 WIB until 16 March at 24:00 WIB

  • Jakarta-Cikampek Elevated (MBZ) toll: 30 per cent discount applies for travel from GT Cikatama to GT Kalikangkung starting 15 March at 00:00 WIB until 16 March at 24:00 WIB

  • Cikampek-Palimanan toll: 30 per cent discount applies for travel from GT Cikatama to GT Kalikangkung starting 15 March at 00:00 WIB until 16 March at 24:00 WIB

  • Palimanan-Kanci toll: 30 per cent discount applies for travel from GT Cikatama to GT Kalikangkung starting 15 March at 00:00 WIB until 16 March at 24:00 WIB

  • Kanci-Pejagan toll: 30 per cent discount applies for travel from GT Cikatama to GT Kalikangkung starting 15 March at 00:00 WIB until 16 March at 24:00 WIB

  • Krian-Legundi-Bunder toll: 30 per cent discount applies for all origin-destination routes except Trans-Java starting 15 March at 00:00 WIB until 16 March at 24:00 WIB. Outside the above schedule, an 8.24 per cent discount applies for all origin-destination routes except Trans-Java starting 12 March at 00:00 WIB until 22 March at 24:00 WIB

  • Cimanggis-Cibitung toll: 30 per cent discount applies for travel from GT Cibitung to GT Jatikarya and vice versa (both directions) starting 21 March at 00:00 WIB until 22 March at 24:00 WIB

  • Kelapa Gading-Pulo Gebang toll: 30 per cent discount applies for all origin-destination routes (flat tariff) starting 15 March at 00:00 WIB until 16 March at 24:00 WIB

It should be noted that the toll tariff discount does not apply if the user lacks sufficient e-toll balance when tapping out at the destination gate.
