Although I am not a frequent commuter from Bekasi, I have had
several unpleasant experiences on the Cawang-Cikampek toll road.
They usually happens at the Bekasi Barat exit, or, on the Cawang
toll road when it is very busy and additional services would be
welcome.

We automatically join the endless line before us on
approaching the toll exit. Excessively long lines that are not
straight usually develop, This confuses commuters as there are
several gates open but because of the chaos, we cannot be certain
that we are in the right line to any particular toll gate. This
happens often because undisciplined drivers regularly slip into
the wrong line.

I believe that toll road users are entitled to a good service,
especially during very busy hours. Do we not contribute to the
development and maintenance of the toll road? Daily commuters
especially deserve excellent service. Special attention should be
paid by the management to the toll road during peak hours; they
should disentangle disorderly lines. Undisciplined drivers,
insensitive to other toll-road users, should be punished.
