Toll Road Opens from 04:30 WITA for Public Wishing to Perform Eid Prayers at IKN's National Mosque
The toll road to Nusantara or IKN will open from 04:30 WITA on Saturday (21/3), enabling the public to perform Idul Fitri or Eid prayers at the National Mosque of IKN in Bumi Harapan Village, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan Province.
Head of the East Kalimantan National Road Implementation Centre (BPJN) Yudi Hardiana explained that the toll road will open earlier and operate until 18:00 WITA.
The IKN toll road is temporarily available for public use from 13-29 March 2026, from 06:00-18:00 WITA. However, for Idul Fitri on 1 Syawal 1447 Hijriah or Saturday (21/3), the toll road will open earlier.
The road sections opened to support the smooth conduct of Eid Prayers at the National Mosque of IKN include the Manggar-IKN Toll Road and Section 1B, which will operate on a limited and one-way basis towards IKN.
The public can access this toll road via the Batakan Stadium area in Balikpapan Timur Subdistrict and Jalan Mukmin Faisal in Balikpapan Selatan Subdistrict.
In addition, for public safety, the IKN toll road sections have been equipped with street lighting and traffic control officers. Posts have also been provided along the toll road sections.
“Eid prayers at the National Mosque are open to all members of the public,” said Special Staff to the IKN Authority Head for Public Communications and IKN Authority Spokesperson Troy Pantouw.
Members of the public bringing private vehicles can use the parking pockets on the lower floor of the National Mosque and the roads around the mosque area. For the elderly, people with disabilities, and pregnant women, buses to the National Mosque of IKN will be provided from 05:00-09:00 WITA.
