Toll Road Discount Scheme 30% and Free Functional Operations Announced for Eid 2026
The Ministry of Public Works (PU) and the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) have agreed to provide a 30 per cent toll tariff discount during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period for 2026 across nearly all toll road sections on both the Trans Java and Trans Sumatra networks.
The Director General of Road Development at the Ministry of Public Works, Roy Rizal, stated that the toll tariff reduction will be applied for four days: 15-16 March 2026 for outbound journeys and 26-27 March 2026 for return journeys.
This toll tariff discount is significantly larger compared to the Eid 2025 holiday period, which offered only 20 per cent, and the Christmas and New Year 2025-2026 period, which also provided 20 per cent discounts.
βThe toll tariff is set at 30 per cent, in accordance with the results of a coordination meeting with the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Territorial Development (IPK). This tariff reduction applies only to the maximum rates using electronic payment methods,β Roy said during a media gathering on Friday, 6 March 2026.
The discount will be implemented across nearly all Trans Java and Trans Sumatra toll road sections.
