Toll Road Charges for Eid Holiday Travel from Lampung to Aceh: Ensure Sufficient E-toll Balance
For those planning to return to their hometowns during the 2026 Eid holiday from Lampung to Aceh, the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) offers a viable route. Although not all main corridors of the Trans-Sumatra Toll are yet connected, travellers can still utilise numerous toll sections that have commenced operations from Lampung to Aceh.
This will result in significantly shorter travel times compared to using only the National Roads across Sumatra. However, travellers must ensure their electronic toll (e-toll) balance is sufficient to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey.
The following outlines the toll tariffs required for Class I vehicles on the Lampung-Aceh route via the Trans-Sumatra Toll:

Terbanggi Besar-Pematang Panggang-Kayu Agung Toll: Rp 255,500
Kayu Agung-Palembang Toll: Rp 50,000
Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll: Rp 171,500

Functional Toll Roads
It should be noted that from Palembang, travellers can utilise the Palembang-Betung Toll, which operates functionally until Pangkalan Balai. After this point, travellers must use the Sumatra Cross Road towards Jambi until Pekanbaru.
From Pekanbaru, travellers can re-enter the Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll and exit at the Pinggir toll gate. After this, travellers will again use the Cross Road.
Travellers can re-enter the Tebing Tinggi-Indrapura Toll via the Indrapura gate.
From Indrapura to Binjai to Langsa (Pangkalan Brandan), travellers can again use the Trans-Sumatra Toll.
Meanwhile, from Pangkalan Brandan to Lhouksemawe to Bireun, travellers must use the Sumatra Cross Road. Finally, travellers can re-board the toll from Sigli to Banda Aceh via the Padang Tiji Toll Gate at no charge until Seulimeum.
Therefore, travellers should prepare an estimated e-toll balance of Rp 990,500 for the journey from Lampung to Aceh.
Functional toll roads that can be utilised range from Lampung to Aceh, including the Palembang-Betung Toll from Kramasan to Pangkalan Balai and the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll from the Padang Tiji Toll Gate to Seulimeum.
