The Indonesian government alongside toll road operators is again providing a 30 percent discount on toll fares during the 2026 Lebaran mudik season across several Trans Java Toll routes during the Lebaran period.

One of the most notable offerings for travellers is the Jakarta–Semarang toll rate for Class I vehicles, which has been reduced to Rp 312,550 from the standard rate of Rp 446,500.

This policy is expected to help reduce travel costs for the public whilst supporting smooth flow of mudik and balik traffic during Lebaran 2026.

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk announced that the toll rate discount programme applies for four days, divided into two periods, during the mudik and balik travel waves.

Based on Jasa Marga’s projections, the peak mudik period is estimated to occur on 18 March 2026, whilst the peak balik period is projected for 24 March 2026.

The provision of discounts outside the peak mudik period aims to encourage the public to travel earlier so that traffic congestion can be better managed.

This route represents the main Trans Java Toll corridor from Jakarta to Semarang and from Semarang to Jakarta.

The GT Kalikangkung – GT Cikampek Utama toll segment has been reduced from the standard rate of Rp 467,500 to Rp 327,250, saving Rp 140,250.

Should transactions not meet the specified requirements, the fare reduction cannot be applied.

For reference, the 2026 mudik toll rate discount is also being implemented on several other toll routes, such as the Trans Sumatra Toll and toll routes in the Bandung–Cisumdawu region.
