PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is once again carrying out preventive maintenance on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road (Japek) to maintain infrastructure quality and ensure safe and comfortable journeys for road users. Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Amri Sanusi, stated that the maintenance involves road pavement reconstruction at two locations on the Jakarta-bound lane. Amri explained that the first work site is at the Cikarang Utara Off Ramp on lane B towards Jakarta, specifically on lane 1 and the outer shoulder. The work at this location will run from Friday (8 May 2026) at 10:00 PM WIB until Wednesday (13 May 2026) at 12:00 PM WIB. Meanwhile, the second site is from KM 35+082 to KM 34+977 on lane B towards Jakarta on the outer shoulder. According to Amri, situational traffic arrangements will be implemented during the works to ensure the safety of road users and the smooth flow of vehicles. Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, said that routine maintenance is a preventive measure to preserve toll road quality amid high daily traffic intensity. She added that JTT has prepared a traffic flow management scheme and ensured that work areas are equipped with safety devices in accordance with operational standards. Information about the works is disseminated through Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), official social media, and advisory banners around the work sites. Ria urged road users to anticipate travel times, ensure vehicles are in prime condition, maintain safe driving distances, and comply with signs and instructions from on-site officers.
