Tokopedia Denies Mass Layoffs, Cites Internal Restructuring

President Director of PT Tokopedia and TikTok E-Commerce Indonesia Stephanie Susilo has denied allegations of mass layoffs (PHK) within the company. The denial was issued during a meeting facilitated by Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad alongside Minister of Manpower Yassierli at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday. Tokopedia’s management stated that the ongoing process is a workforce restructuring and internal mobility exercise, not a mass termination of employment.
