Toilet trouble on the train
Toilet trouble on the train
From Warta Kota
I usually take the Parahyangan train from Jakarta to Bandung
and vice versa. Traveling on this train is more comfortable and
quicker than going by bus.
On Sunday, July 16, 2000 I took the Parahyangan from Bandung
to Jakarta. The train left Bandung at 1 p.m. and I was in a
business coach (K-1). Unfortunately, I could not enjoy the trip
as much as I usually do because I found only one toilet with
running water working properly.
In view of this, I would like the railway company to explain
why such a high-class train as the Parahyangan can allow its
toilets to have no water. A seemingly trivial matter like this
can indeed unfavorably affect passenger comfort. The railway's
management should run a check before allowing the train to leave
the station.
