The Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) experienced significant pressure during Wednesday’s trading, closing down 4.11% at the 5,941.07 level. Shares in CASA, DSSA, and BYAN acted as the primary supports for the index, while BBCA, BBRE, and AAMN faced the heaviest selling pressure. Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp864.07 billion in the regular market and Rp993.29 billion across all markets. Sectorally, all sectors closed in the red, with the basic industry sector recording the deepest decline of 9.05%.

Global sentiment continues to weigh on the market following weakness in major US indices, where the Dow Jones fell 1.21%, the S&P 500 corrected by 0.74%, and the Nasdaq declined by 0.89%. In the short term, market participants will closely monitor the stability of the Rupiah exchange rate, government responses to financial market volatility, and the results of global index evaluations that could potentially influence foreign fund flows. Pressure is also evident in Indonesia’s offshore indices, reflected by the decline of the EIDO ETF by 4.99% and the MSCI Indonesia by 4.10%.

Amidst volatile market conditions, PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA) has set an aggressive growth target for 2026. The company aims for revenue to reach Rp70 trillion, an increase from the 2025 realisation of Rp44.55 trillion. Net profit is projected to be in the range of Rp1.4 trillion to Rp1.5 trillion, higher than the previous year’s achievement of Rp979.6 billion. Operationally, HRTA targets the production and sale of 25 tonnes of pure gold by the end of 2026, increasing its integrated factory capacity from 48 tonnes to 60 tonnes per year.

Meanwhile, PT Jasuindo Tiga Perkasa Tbk (JTPE) has set a final cash dividend for the 2025 fiscal year of Rp31 per share, totalling approximately Rp210.62 billion. This amount represents about 59.93% of the net profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity. JTPE’s 2025 performance showed solid growth, with revenue increasing 31.54% year-on-year to Rp2.78 trillion, while net profit grew 47.69% to Rp351.45 billion. The dividend yield reflects approximately 5.12%, with the cum-dividend date scheduled for 9 June 2026.

On the other hand, PT Alkindo Naratama Tbk (ALDO) plans to execute a share buyback with a maximum fund of Rp10 billion, sourced entirely from the company’s internal cash. As of the end of Q1-2026, ALDO held a cash balance of Rp53.74 billion. The company limits the number of shares to be repurchased to a maximum of 10% of the fully paid-up placed capital. The buyback programme is planned to run from 24 June 2026 to 23 June 2027.
