Today's Stock Recommendations: From AMMN to ARCI
The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed down 0.32% at 7,106.52 during trading on Monday (27/04). Gains in several stocks such as AMMN (+8.00%), APIC (+15.63%), and EMAS (+4.30%) were insufficient to counter the pressure from large-cap stocks, including DSSA (-8.66%), ASII (-3.16%), and BMRI (-2.22%), which were the main drags on the index. Foreign investor selling continued, with a net sell of Rp2.01 trillion in the regular market and Rp2.04 trillion across all markets. Sector-wise, index movements were generally limited, with only two of the eleven sectors experiencing declines. The energy sector recorded the deepest drop of 1.21%, while the basic industry sector provided the strongest support with a 1.48% gain. In global markets, US stock indices closed mixed. The Dow Jones fell slightly by 0.13% to 49,167, while the S&P 500 rose 0.12% to 7,173 and the Nasdaq strengthened 0.20% to 24,887. Meanwhile, the Head of the Capital Market, Derivatives, and Carbon Exchange Supervisory Executive of OJK, Hasan Fawzi, stated that communication with MSCI is progressing positively and constructively. The authority also plans to expand dialogue with the World Bank and IFC to strengthen the credibility of the domestic capital market. Nevertheless, pressure remains evident on the EIDO ETF index and MSCI Indonesia, which corrected by 0.85% and 0.98%, respectively. On the corporate front, PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk (KRAS) targets revenue of Rp20 trillion in 2026 with a minimum net profit of Rp2 trillion. To support this target, the company aims for domestic sales of around 1.2 million tonnes per year. Management is also undertaking internal improvements, including securing initial funding support of Rp5 trillion to strengthen its financial structure and working capital. A financing scheme with more competitive interest rates is expected to reduce interest burdens, which previously ranged from 20–25% when using third-party facilities. In terms of price movement, KRAS shares are still moving in a limited range (sideways) around Rp290–314. Meanwhile, PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT) has set cash dividends for the 2025 fiscal year at Rp390.31 billion or Rp70 per share, equivalent to 68% of net profit of Rp573.27 billion. Previously, the company had distributed interim dividends of Rp192.96 billion or Rp35 per share, so the remaining final dividend to be distributed is Rp197.30 billion or Rp35 per share. DKFT’s operational performance throughout 2025 showed growth, with sales increasing 7.53% to Rp1.57 trillion from Rp1.46 trillion the previous year. This increase was primarily supported by nickel sales, which rose 7.87% to Rp1.51 trillion and contributed 96.38% to total revenue. Net profit also saw a significant rise to Rp573.27 billion from Rp411.95 billion, in line with an increase in earnings per share (EPS) to 104.01 from the previous 66.41. The cum date for dividends in the regular and negotiated markets is set for 30 April, with the final dividend payment scheduled for 12 May.
